Our Organization
Founded in 2017, Consulting Connection Services, LLC (CCS) is a mission-driven organization committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live with greater independence, stability, and purpose. Under the leadership of our Chief Executive Officer, Barbara Tate, CCS has grown into a trusted provider of person-centered services across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond.
Our team brings over 30 years of combined experience in human services, benefits planning, housing support, and disability advocacy. We are proud of our many strong partnerships with local agencies, support coordinators, service providers, and community-based organizations — and we are always looking to build new collaborations that help individuals thrive.

Since 2017, our team has consistently delivered results that go beyond expectations — helping clients secure the benefits, services, and support they are rightfully entitled to.
Benefits Planning
Our Benefits Planning team has helped clients:
Secure SSI and SSDI benefits in as little as 45 days, streamlining complex processes with expert knowledge and dedicated advocacy.
Successfully waive Social Security overpayments, including one case totaling over $48,000, helping individuals avoid undue financial hardship.
Increase monthly benefit payments by identifying and correcting errors, ensuring that clients receive the full amount they are entitled to.
Correct inaccurate SSA records, which is critical for eligibility, work history, and future planning.
Obtain approval for hundreds of Impairment-Related Work Expenses (IRWE), allowing individuals to reduce their countable income and maintain essential benefits while working.
Community Guide Services
Through our General and Housing Community Guide programs, we have:
Supported nearly 100 individuals in navigating housing challenges, public transportation, and access to vital community services.
Helped people secure safe, stable housing and develop the independent living skills needed to remain connected to their communities.
